PlayDHDWhen Kirsten Milliken of PlayDHD asked me to join her and her co-host Stacey Turis for an episode of their video series, I was instantly intrigued. These fabulous ADHD ladies host fun and lively video discussion on a variety of topics under the umbrella of play and ADHD. (Hence, PlayDHD.)

Kirsten asked me what I might like to talk about, and I didn’t have to think about it for very long before I suggested the topic of embracing changing interests.

As an adult with ADHD, I find myself continually obsessed with a new hobby or interest, only to burn out on it after a short while and move onto something else. I’ve learned to embrace this quirk, and I’m often encouraging other ADHDers to embrace it, as well. So Kirsten, Stacey, and I had a great discussion on this topic!

Check out the video to:

  • Discover why so many ADHDers find themselves continually obsessed with new interests
  • Find out when it’s okay, and when it’s NOT okay, not to follow through with something that interests you
  • Laugh along with Kirsten, Stacey, and I as we reveal our own changing interests and obsessions
  • Also, you get to see me looking like a sleepy raccoon. Clearly, I need better lighting in this office!

Here’s the video, and be sure to check out many other PlayDHD videos on their website or on their YouTube channel. And be sure to tell me what you think of the conversation!
