Are you chronically overwhelmed with everyday life?
If you’re like many adults with ADHD, then you’re struggling to simplify your life, focus on what’s important, and succeed at your goals.
I can help you break this cycle and learn how to manage your ADHD once and for all. My private coaching centers around what I call the ‘5 Essential Skills for Managing Adult ADHD’. They are:
1. Break the cycle of overwhelm
2. Work with your ADHD
3. ADDjust your attitude
4. Take control of your space and time
5. Live out loud
I’ve been coaching adults with ADHD—from CEOs to stay-at-home parents—for almost 10 years. I’m one of the few ADHD coaches who’s been designated a ‘Senior Certified AD/HD Coach.’ I’ve been featured on The Today Show, in The New York Times, and various other international media outlets. I’m also the Director of the Virtual AD/HD Conference®, a major industry event. And I’m an adult who lives and thrives with ADHD. So when it comes to adult ADHD, I know my stuff.
When you enter into a coaching relationship with me, you’ll learn how to simplify, focus, and succeed. You’ll learn how to stop spinning your wheels, and actually move forward in your life.
But I won’t lie to you. Coaching is not a magic bullet. It works, but it doesn’t work overnight. It’s a process. And if you’re not ready to be coached, then you won’t get results.
Coaching requires quite a bit of commitment and effort on your part. If you really want it to work, then you’ve got to be willing to be honest with me, and with yourself. You’ve got to be willing to experiment with strategies, and to make observations about yourself. And, quite simply, you’ve got to be willing to invest time and energy into the process.
Am I the Right Coach for You?
The best coaches out there coach on what they know. For me, that’s chronic overwhelm and all the challenges that come with it, like intense stress, lack of self-care and time management difficulties (just to name a few). I’ve done a lot of personal work to learn how to overcome chronic overwhelm, and I’ve helped hundreds of clients do the same. For the most part, my clients tend to be business owners, high-level executives and graduate students. I’ve also worked with quite a few ADHD coaches in need of business mentoring. However, you need not fit into these categories if you’d like to work with me!
There are plenty of ADHD coaches out there, and if you’re not sure if I’m the right coach for you, then I suggest reading my book, Odd One Out: The Maverick’s Guide to Adult ADD. That will give you a good feel for my personality and coaching style. If you like the book, then I think you’ll like coaching with me! And of course, if you hate the book, then I’m probably not the right coach for you.
If you don’t want to wait until you read my book before getting started with coaching, then another good way to get to know me is to read my posts on this site, and listen to my podcasts and interviews.
These days I keep very busy with ADHDmanagement.com, the Virtual AD/HD Conference®, and other events, (not to mention my daughter, 2 dogs, and partner), so I only work with a handful of private clients—around 3 at any given time—depending on my schedule. This way, I still get to enjoy coaching (which I love and am pretty damn good at) and I have plenty of time and energy to give my clients the attention they deserve.
My current coaching days and hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm EST.
Coaching Options & Fees
I offer two options for coaching with me. The vast majority of my clients are Intensive, but you’re more than welcome to book me for a laser session if you have just one or two small issues to tackle. And clients sometimes book a laser session as a trial before continuing on to an Intensive Coaching relationship.
Intensive Private Coaching (Monthly Package)
• Three 50-minute coaching sessions via phone or Skype. (Note: in-person sessions may be available in the New York Hudson Valley area.)
• Unlimited email coaching. Email me as much as you like! I’m in the office Monday through Thursday and usually respond within 1 business day.
• Fee: $550 per month, paid in advance. Automatically renews each month until you’re ready to stop coaching.
Laser Coaching (Limited to One Session per Calendar Month)
• One 50-minute laser coaching session via phone or Skype.
• One follow-up email.
• Fee: $200 one-time fee paid in advance.
Note: Jennifer is on family leave and will not be taking new clients until sometime in 2014.
If you’re not ready for private coaching just yet, or if you can’t work with me privately for whatever reason, then I recommend picking up a copy of the Odd One Out Home Study Coaching Program. It’s a compliment to the book, and a practical guide to implementing the 5 Essential Skills for Managing Adult ADHD. And it comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee.
Still Have Questions?
If you’ve read this page in its entirety, have availability during my current coaching hours and can afford my coaching fees, but still have questions about working with me, then please send an email to support @ adhdmanagement.com and include your phone number and some good times to reach you during the day. A team member will call you to answer your questions. (Don’t worry, no one will try to “sell” you or push you into signing up for coaching with me. That’s just not the way we work.)
If you are ready to work with me as your private ADHD coach, then do sign up now so we can get started! You can break the cycle of overwhelm and move forward with your goals.
