Did you know that adults with ADHD are more likely to become obese, and even to develop an eating disorder like bulimia, binge eating, and morbid obesity? It makes sense, considering the fact that healthy eating habits require the use of executive functions such as time management, planning, decision-making, and impulsive control—some of the very skills that ADHDers are troubled by to begin with!

If you struggle with managing your weight and eating habits, then you’ve probably been struggling for a long time, unable to find the tools and resources that will work for you long term. I know what it’s like, too. I had everything under control for a couple of years—until I had a baby. And then boom! When my life structure changed, many of my poor eating habits returned. Together, we’re going to learn from  prominent Psychologist and Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School, ADHD expert Dr. Roberto Olivardia. Over the course of two evenings, January 24-25, Dr. Olivardia will teach us everything from the science and studies behind ADHD and weight management to the practical, ADHD-friendly strategies and steps that you and I can take—right away—to start building healthy eating habits and take control of our weight.
